We are honored to join you on your journey towards healing and wellness. Together we will explore stressors, symptoms, and triggers that are negatively impacting you. The first appointment will be used to complete a Diagnostic Assessment. This may take between 50-85 minutes depending on your specific needs. The Diagnostic Assessment will assist us in getting to know you better as well as in learning how we can most effectively assist you. This appointment will not be a normal talk therapy appointment and will feel a little more like an interview. Although it is tempting to jump straight into talk therapy or EMDR, taking the time to review significant life events and experiences will ensure that we make the most efficient use of our time together. Please bring any documents you would like us to review, and we will be happy to review them prior to your second appointment.
While some clients find it most beneficial to schedule appointments weekly, others prefer to take a bi-weekly approach to counseling. Both methods are acceptable and have unique benefits. Together, we will explore what schedule might be most valuable for you and your specific needs. Clients are also welcomed to alternate between in-person and online appointments depending on their schedules and preferences.
We are proud to offer services to individuals in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. Clients are not required to be residents of these states; however, they must be physically located in one of these three states during the virtual appointment.
We are an out of network provider for all insurance plans. We do not accept payment directly from any insurance company. Patients/parents are responsible for all fees associated with treatment at time of appointment. We will provide you with the paperwork necessary for you to submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement and take advantage of any out of network benefits. Please request a super bill on the portal if you would like to submit for out of network benefit.
